VALTIFEST
(SEPT 3RD)

Valtifest is considered the “wild child” of Amsterdam’s summer festival programs. There’s an extraordinary line-up of DJs playing all kinds of music; from electro, to hip-hop, to punk. This eclectic summer festival literally caters to all tastes. Ever year there’s a special theme with a dress code to match. This year’s them is Holy Shit!

At Valtifest, you’ll also find sideshows and performances, local fashion, and catwalks. The music will be as eclectic as the dress code. Anything goes! Don’t be shy, let your imagination run wild as you get into the spirit of Valtifest.

DAM TOT DAMLOOP (SEPT 17-18TH)

Dam tot Damloop is the largest running event of its kind in the Netherlands with 10 English Mile (16.1km) from the heart of Amsterdam to Zaandam. They even have something for little sport enthusiasts. Children between 4 and 12 years old can walk a distance of 0.6 or 2.2 km with the Mini Dam tot Damloop. Various activities take place during the weekend of Dam tot Damloop. If running isn’t really your thing, you can participate in one of the walking or cycling events. 

Not attending or participating in the event? Be sure to familiarize yourself with modified traffic patterns, bus schedules and tram routes, as the event will cause a lot of road closures.
